What We Care For!
Comprehensive Psychosocial Support
Our psychosocial support service is designed to address the emotional and mental health needs of women with disabilities. We create a safe, nurturing space where they can openly share challenges, build resilience, and connect with a supportive community. Our counseling sessions and peer support groups foster confidence and self-worth, helping women manage stress and mental health issues. By providing compassionate, tailored care, we aim to empower women to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Whether dealing with daily struggles or seeking personal growth, our psychosocial support is here to uplift and guide women on their journeys.
Personalized Direct Support
Our direct support service provides customized assistance for women with disabilities, helping them navigate everyday challenges with confidence. We work closely with each woman to understand her unique needs, offering hands-on guidance in areas like healthcare access, housing, and legal support. Whether it's securing accommodations or connecting with local resources, we ensure women have the tools and information to live independently and with dignity. Our team is dedicated to removing barriers and advocating for each woman’s right to thrive, offering the personalized help needed to enhance their quality of life.
Disability Job Center
The Disability Job Center (DJC) is committed to helping women with disabilities achieve meaningful employment. We connect job seekers to inclusive employers who value diversity and accessibility. Through job placements, resume building, interview prep, and career coaching, we help women develop the skills they need to excel in the workplace. Our goal is to break down employment barriers and create equal opportunities that empower women with disabilities to achieve financial independence and career satisfaction. At DJC, we believe in fostering an inclusive workforce where every woman can thrive professionally.
Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction
Our Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR) service ensures women with disabilities are protected and prepared during emergencies. We advocate for disaster plans that are inclusive, accessible, and considerate of the needs of disabled individuals. By working with communities, governments, and NGOs, we promote accessible evacuation routes, shelters, and emergency services. We also offer training programs to empower women with disabilities to protect themselves in times of crisis. Our goal is to build resilient communities where women with disabilities are safe, informed, and equipped to handle disasters with confidence.
Inclusive Education for All
We believe every woman deserves access to quality education, and our Inclusive Education program is designed to ensure that women with disabilities have the support they need to succeed academically. We work with schools, universities, and policymakers to create accessible learning environments and advocate for inclusive educational practices. From scholarships to tutoring and mentorship, we offer resources to help women overcome barriers to education. Our goal is to empower women with disabilities to pursue their dreams, gain knowledge, and build successful careers, knowing they have the tools and opportunities to thrive.
Empowerment Through Sports
Our Sports for Inclusion program promotes both physical and mental well-being for women with disabilities by encouraging participation in adaptive sports. We offer a range of accessible sports activities, from wheelchair basketball to adaptive swimming, creating spaces where women can stay active, challenge themselves, and connect with others. We believe sports help break down social barriers, foster self-confidence, and create a sense of belonging. Through these activities, we empower women with disabilities to embrace their strengths, build lasting friendships, and experience the joy of inclusive physical activity.
